# Dashboard

> Today at a glance.

The dashboard is the first thing you see when you sign in. It answers one question: what is happening today, and is anything wrong?

**Overview → Dashboard.**

## What is on it

* **Call activity**: how many calls came in, how many the agent handled without a person, how many transferred
* **Appointments**: booked, cancelled, and confirmed today
* **What needs attention**: follow-ups nobody has claimed, unconfirmed appointments, messages waiting for a reply
* **First available**: the next open slot across the practice, so you can answer the most common question without opening the calendar

The dashboard can be printed, which practices use for the morning meeting. For a real appointment-by-appointment walkthrough, use [Huddle](/front-desk/huddle) instead.

## Reading it

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Handled without a person">
    The share of calls the agent finished on its own. It climbs over the first few weeks as your [knowledge base](/agents/knowledge-base) fills in. If it drops suddenly, something changed: a new policy patients are asking about, or a PMS connection problem.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Unclaimed follow-ups">
    Calls that left something for a person to do and that nobody has picked up. This number should be near zero by the end of a shift. See [Follow-ups](/front-desk/follow-ups).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Unconfirmed appointments">
    Tomorrow's appointments where the patient has not confirmed. These are your no-show risk. The Appt Notifications [report](/reports/overview) lists them individually.
