Huddle is one day of your schedule laid out for the morning meeting: who is coming in, what for, and what is outstanding on each of them before they arrive. Overview → Huddle. Available when the HUDDLE feature is enabled.

What it shows per patient

  • The appointment: time, provider, operatory, reason, duration
  • Whether they have confirmed
  • Whether their insurance has been verified and what it came back with
  • Whether their forms are done
  • Outstanding balance, if billing is connected
  • Anything the agent noted on a recent call

How practices use it

1

Step the date to today, before the doors open

The date stepper at the top moves a day at a time.
2

Walk the list top to bottom

Each row is one patient. Stop on anything red: unconfirmed, unverified, forms not returned, a balance.
3

Assign the gaps

Someone calls the unconfirmed patients. Someone chases the forms. Someone checks the verification that came back with a problem.
4

Look at tomorrow before you finish

Everything on tomorrow’s list is easier to fix today.
The value of Huddle is entirely in doing it before the first patient arrives. Run at 4pm it is a report; run at 8am it is a plan.
