Team → Staffing. Available when the STAFFING feature is enabled.
Staffing is the shift board: who is at which office on which day. It is a different question from Staff, which is about who has a login.
What it is for
- Seeing coverage across several offices in one view
- Knowing who is where before you route a call or promise a patient a provider
- Spotting a day with a schedule full of appointments and nobody rostered to run it
Using the board
The board shows a date range across your locations. Assign people to shifts, move them, and see gaps.
Fill the board at least a fortnight ahead. Its value is showing you a problem while there is still time to fix it; filled in on the morning it is a record of what already went wrong.
Staffing and scheduling
Staffing does not decide what the agent offers patients. Bookable time comes from provider and operatory availability in your PMS. See Availability.
The two should agree. A provider whose PMS schedule is open on a day they are not rostered is a slot the agent will offer and nobody will work.
